"Only those who risk going too far know how far they can go." - T.S. Eliot The aim of the project was to represent a challenge to ourselves based on one of these themes and incorporate them into space. My piece features a risky approach due to its focus on nudity. With inspiration from a model I experimented with charcoal to represent the female figure, it was life-size, and this made it riskier for the viewer, the space element was the change in scale along with the studio rather than my bedroom wall. The reason I blew the piece up like this was to progress from the original drawing and to challenge the limits of an image. The way it's spread out restructures the image away from its nude origin.
